Established in 1961, the Venango Conservation District is one of 66 conservation districts in Pennsylvania. Our mission is to serve Venango County by promoting the wise use, enhancement, and understanding of natural resources and improve the environmental quality for the citizens of the county and state.

Right to KnowThe Venango Conservation District establishes the procedures for meeting its obligations under the Pennsylvania Right to Know Law, which was revised in 2008. It applies to all requests for “public records.” The district recognizes the value of making information available to the public, and is committed to continually improving public access to public information and fostering public participation in the decision-making process.
